In this post, we’ll go over how to connect the PS5 DualSense controller to an Apple TV device.
Pairing with Apple TV
-While the controller is still powered off, you’ll need to press and hold the PS button at the center of the controller and the “Share” button at the same time for about 3 seconds. You’ll know the controller has entered pairing mode when the light on the controller starts to flash.
-On the Apple TV device go to the system “Settings”, “Remotes and Devices”, “Bluetooth” and select the DualSense controller
-You’re all done. You can immediately start to test the controller by navigating the settings menu with the DualSense controller.
Note: To turn off the controller, press and hold the PS button for about 15 seconds. Otherwise, the controller will stay on for a while even while inactive.
Pairing back to PS5
-Power on your PS5 by pressing the power button on the console.
-Connect the USB-C cable that comes with the controller into the console and the other end into the DualSense controller.
-On the controller just tap the PS button and that’s it. At this point, you can disconnect the USB-C cable from the console and controller.
