I never liked YouTube Shorts, finding them intrusive and prefer that they should be a separate app rather than integrated into YouTube. This annoyance is compounded by the way Shorts dominate the homepage, often overshadowing other video content.
Desktop Browser
To block Shorts on the Brave browser for the desktop version:
