Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S ready to receive Android 4.1.2 update

Just a few days ago a Google employee confirmed that Android 4.1.2 would be hitting Nexus 7 devices worldwide but no information was given regarding previous Nexus devices, until now. The update is starting to popup on Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S devices and is downloadable over-the-air (OTA) with a small size of 15.1 MB. The update itself isn’t anything amazing it just packs some bug fixes. If by chance you haven’t received the popup notification you can check for an update manually by going to the phone’s settings, about phone and select software update. Keep in mind that not all models will receive the update right away as in some regions you could be waiting longer or mobile operators might delay it (*cough* Verizon *cough*). It seems as though the international version of the Galaxy Nexus and units sold from Google Play have started to receive it. Have you received the update? If so have you noticed any performance improvements?
